Just finished Cyberstorm. What a great book, Mr. Mather! It’s amazing how realistic your scenario is. I am an IT Networking student in Milwaukee and I was enthralled at your approach to the whole cyberstorm concept. I feel people especially in a computer background will find what you have written to be chillingly plausible. well done sir. On to your other book (Atopia). reading it now 🙂
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I just finished reading Cyberstorm. Not a book i would regularly read, out of the hundreds of books I have. I’m not a techy. This was one of the best stories I have ever read. I also never leave reviews, but you absolutely deserve serious accolades for putting this together. I cried, had chills and thought. I responded to those around me like I had just experienced the most horrific events myself. I love this story and the words flowed beautifully. I could see and smell the carnage of a world left to fend for itself. It was only 41 days but nothing was rushed and I actually felt the “graceful” degradation. Beautiful story. Thank you.
I’m an experienced, award-winning audiobook narrator interested in producing an audiobook version of Cyberstorm and the Atopia Chronicles. I couldn’t find any audio versions of your work, which tells me there’s an untapped and hungry market for your books. This would be a standard joint venture — I would record the books on spec, and receive a portion of the sales, which means you would have an additional income stream at no cost to you, other than the time it takes for you to notify your fans of a new way to love your stories. I admire the trailblazing you’ve done in the publishing world, and I’d like to emulate you in the audiobook world. What do you think?
Hi David,
I appreciate the invitation…but we’ve already had audio rights to both these acquired – all best!!
Definitely good news! Now…. about that audiobook. Are we there yet?
Fantastic book! I’ve also just finished Atopia Chronicles and I can’t wait for the continuation! First sci-fy author I’ve read in a while that prese ts a trully believable “phuture” for humanity. I sincerely hope 100+ yrs from now someone will say “gosh, Mathew Matber” was the Jules Verne of his time!
PS: How did you learn to self publish by the way?
Thanks Jorge!!
Loved the audio version of Atopia, is there an ETA of Cyber Storm?
There’s already an audio version of CyberStorm out…are you having trouble finding it? Just email me at author dot matthew dot mather at gmail dot com
Couldn’t put Cyberstorm down. What a good read. The development of the story all the twists and turns made it exciting. Loved the characters. Got to replenish my supplies-could happen. I could see a good movie from it as there is so much happening.
